We’re makin’ a warm, creamy sausage queso that comes together in the slow cooker with hardly any effort at all. Everything gets mixed in, heats up nice and slow, and turns into that smooth, melty dip everybody keeps comin’ back for. It’s perfect for game day, parties, or anytime you need somethin’ you can set and forget and know it’s gonna turn out Dan-good.

Ingredients

  • 1 Packet Dan-O’s Dips Mexi-Ranch
  • 1 lb hot sausage or turkey sausage
  • 1 can fire-roasted tomatoes or your favorite salsa
  • 1 (16 oz) package Velveeta cheese
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1\2 -1 can black beans

Preparation Instructions

  1. Get you a big skillet and cook that sausage over medium heat, breakin’ it up as you go, until it’s fully cooked and no pink is left. Once it’s done, go on and drain off that extra grease.
  2. Now grab your slow cooker and add in that cooked sausage, your Dan-O’s Dips Mexi-Ranch packet, and the rest of the ingredients. Give it a good stir so everything’s mixed together.
  3. Put the lid on, set it to LOW, and let it do its thing for 1 to 2 hours, just until everything’s hot and that cheese is melted down nice and creamy. Give it a good stir.
  4. If it starts lookin’ a little thicker than you like, don’t stress — just splash in a little milk, stir it up, and you’re good to go.
  5. Once it’s smooth, melty, and ready, serve it up. Perfect for game day, parties, or anytime you need somethin’ easy and good. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!®
