This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how Dan-O’s Seasoning, LLC and (“Dan-O’s”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares your information when (1) you access and/or use our website or other digital properties we own and operate, including https://danosseasoning.com (“Site”); (2) you communicate with us in any manner, including by email, direct messaging, telephone, and/or in person (“Communications”); and (3) we interact with certain third parties.

What Personal Data We Collect

Depending on how you interact with our Site, the nature of our Communications, and how we may interact with certain third parties, we may collect the following categories of your information:

  • Basic Identifying Information. Information you provide when you sign-up sign up to receive information from our Site such as your name, phone number and e-mail address.
  • Device Identifier and other Unique Identifiers. Information such as your device identifier, internet protocol (IP) address, cookies, beacons, pixel tags, mobile ad identifier, and other unique identifiers.

You may choose to voluntarily provide other information to us that we do not request, and, in such instances, and in such situations we have no control over what categories of personal information such disclosure may include. How We Collect Your Data

We collect your information in three ways: (1) directly from you when you use our Site and Communicate with us; (2) automatically using online technologies when you engage with our Site and Communications; and (3) from third parties.

  • Directly from you. We collect information directly from you when you enter your information on our Websites, access our content, take a survey or a poll or enter a contest, use our Site, engage in Communications with us, or sign-up to receive emails or certain other Communications from us.
  • Automatically Using Online Technologies.   • Market and Advertise. We also use your information to show you advertisements for our products and to administer our rewards, discounts, sweepstakes, and contests. We and our third-party partners use cookies, pixels, web beacons, and tags, and other similar online tracking technologies to gather information about you when you use our Site, interact with some of our Products, and engage with our Communications. Analytics and Advertising

Analytics: We use analytics services, such as Google Analytics, to help us understand how users access and use the Site. Analytics help us understand how you are using our Site, including the means in which you interact with our Site, Communications and advertisements.

Advertising. In addition, we work with agencies, advertisers, ad networks, and other technology services to place ads about our products and services on other websites and services. For example, we place ads through Google, Bing, and Facebook that you may view on their platforms as well as on other websites and services. As part of this process, we may incorporate tracking technologies into our own Site and services (including our Communications) as well as into our ads displayed on other websites and services. Who We Share Your Data With

How Do We Protect Your Data

How Long We Retain Your Data

We keep your information for as long as is necessary in accordance with the purpose for which it was collected, our business needs, and our legal and regulatory obligations. If we dispose of your information, we will do so in a way that is secure and appropriate to nature of the information subject to disposal.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any and all changes will be reflected on this page, and where appropriate provided in person or by another electronic method. The effective date will be stated at the top of this Policy. Children

Our Site and products are not intended for children under the age of 13. This includes any links to other websites that we provide for our convenience. We don’t knowingly collect the information of children under 13 for any reason.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

A. Accounts and Comments

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. Please note that we will retain and use any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes, or as otherwise needed to enforce our agreements.

B. Communications

Email Marketing. Users may opt-in to our email subscription list through the newsletter signup, account pages, or online shop. Emails may also be collected (when users opt-in) through giveaways and promotional campaigns. Email subscribers will receive a variety of scheduled emails, including recipes, giveaways, and special offers.

Email lists may be shared with our affiliates, including subsidiaries and marketing partners. Users have the option to unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time through our account section or by following the unsubscribe link on a recent email.

If we receive you provide your email address to us through other means without conditions, we may use your email address to send you promotional emails until you opt-out.

You can opt-out of receiving promotional emails from us at any time by following the instructions as provided in emails to click on the unsubscribe link, or emailing us at the email address set out as set out in the Contact Us section below with the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject field of the email. Please note that you cannot opt-out of non-promotional emails, such as those about your account, transactions, servicing, or our ongoing business relations.

We will never sell your email address or information to third parties.

You also have a right to opt-out of the sale of your personal data. You also have a right to appeal a denial of these requests.
