Easy Homemade Guacamole

A Guacamole Recipe Hack

Consider this a guacamole recipe hack. You can have delicious, homemade guacamole in about 5 minutes! The secret is a store-bought ingredient that saves a ton of time, and of course, Dan-O’s Original Seasoning.

A Huge Time Saver

The time-saver in this guacamole recipe is store-bought pico. If you shop at Kroger or a similar store, you can usually find this prepackaged in your fresh produce section. They use cilantro, tomato, and onion, which saves you a ton of time chopping that stuff!

Dan-O’s is Perfect for Guacamole Recipes

You might not consider Dan-O’s as being great for guac, but trust me on this one. Its profile of garlic, onion, citrus, sea salt, and herbs gives this an absolute flavor boost. I do still add a little S&P in mine, but this part is optional for you.

Serve your homemade guacamole with chips, limes, and maybe a margarita (if you’re of age). Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 Large avocados
  • 1/2 cup fresh pico
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1 jalapeno (diced)
  • 1 clove garlic (grated)
  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Spicy Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dash of hot sauce (used Kentuxican)

Preparation Instructions

  1. Dice up an onion and cut your lime in half.
  2. Cut and core your avocados and scoop out the insides. Add to a bowl and mash.
  3. Add your pico and jalapenos.
  4. Grate in your garlic. Squeeze in your lime juice.
  5. Add all of your seasonings and your hot sauce.
  6. Mix everything together.
