One Pot Lasagna Soup

One Pot Lasagna Soup

Flavors Used:

Love lasagna but hate making it? Then you’ve hit pay dirt with this one pot lasagna soup! This tastes just like a normal lasagna with the savory flair from the Bolognese sauce to the rich creaminess of the ricotta mixture. Dan-O’s balances the experience with 3 of our signature blends: Original adds some savory flair, while Spicy adds a little kick to tickle your tastebuds, and Cheesoning gives you a taste of Italy with Southern rustication! What makes this recipe so great is that you only need one pot, which makes for a quick clean up and tidy work space. If you’ve got a bunch of things to do, then a little work on the front of this recipe gives you a lot of hands off time to get what you need done. Another great part about one pot lasagna soup is that it makes a big batch! If you’ve got a big family, or just like meal prepping then this is a great choice. And if you’re going to whip some lasagna soup, then do yourself a favor and make some of Dan’s pull apart garlic bread to go with it! Now that’s some Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!

  2. Add chopped onion, basil, and garlic to pot, cook over medium heat for 1 minute (until translucent).
  3. Add a small amount of chicken stock to prevent the garlic from burning, simmer 1 minute.
  4. Add the meat back in along with the marinara, remaining chicken stock, crushed tomatoes, sugar, balsamic vinegar, and Dan-O’s, mix well and bring to a simmer.
  5. Break lasagna noodles into 2 inch pieces and add to the pot along with whipping cream.
  6. Simmer for 40 minutes.
  7. In another bowl mix together ricotta, mozzarella, & Dan-O’s Cheesoning Seasoning.
  8. Serve in a bowl and top with ricotta mixture, enjoy!

  1. I absolutely love this recipe! The only thing I did different is I did the broken lasagna noodles in boiling chicken stock, and then rinsed them with cold water, to keep them aldente. I know it’s basically a “ sin” to treat pasta like that!😂 But it keeps the pasta firm after reheating.
