Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Dan-O’s Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 whole bottle Louisiana hot sauce (2 cups)
  • 1 whole container Italian dressing (2 cups)
  • 1 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 Chicken drumsticks

Preparation Instructions

  1. Prepare the Wet Brine: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Louisiana hot sauce, the Italian dressing, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  2. Brine the Chicken: Submerge the chicken drumsticks in the wet brine. Ensure they are fully coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours to allow the chicken to marinate.
  3. Prepare for Cooking: After marinating, remove the drumsticks from the brine and lay them on a baking rack. Ensure that the skin is covering the chicken and trim any excess pieces of skin. Season generously with Dan-O’s Cajun.
