Spider Web Pizza

Spider Web Pizza

Flavors Used:

This Spider Web Pizza is a creepy, cheesy Halloween dinner that's just as fun to make as it is to eat. Instead of traditional pizza sauce, the crust gets covered in creamy Alfredo flavored with Dan-O’s Italian-O Seasoning and Dan-O’s Cheesoning, then topped with fresh tomatoes, basil, and plenty of melty mozzarella. After baking, a pesto drizzle gets transformed into an easy spider web design with a toothpick, while black olive spiders crawl across the top for the perfect spooky finishing touch. This easy Halloween pizza is great for parties, family movie nights, or a festive dinner before trick-or-treating. It's packed with creamy Italian flavor, loads of cheese, and just enough creepy-crawly fun to make everyone want another slice.

Ingredients

  • Dan-O’s Italian-O
  • Dan-O’s Cheesoning
  • 1 pizza crust
  • 1 cup Alfredo pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend mix
  • Roma tomatoes, sliced thin
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Whole black olives
  • 2 tbsp Pesto
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Preparation Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the directions for your pizza crust.
  2. In a small bowl, stir Dan-O’s Italian-O Seasoning and Dan-O’s Cheesoning into the Alfredo sauce until everything is creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor.
  3. Spread the seasoned Alfredo sauce evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Arrange the fresh tomato slices and basil over the sauce, then cover everything with a thick layer of shredded mozzarella. We’re making a spider web here, but there’s no reason it can’t be a cheesy one.
  5. Bake the pizza according to the crust package instructions, or until the crust is golden and the mozzarella is melted and bubbly.
  6. While the pizza bakes, prepare your pesto drizzle. Once the pizza comes out of the oven, drizzle the pesto in several circles, starting near the center and working your way toward the crust. Draw the connecting lines in a curve.
  7. Cut black olives into little spider shapes using olive halves for the bodies and thin slices for the legs. Arrange your creepy crawlers around the pesto web.
  8. Slice it up and serve your Spider Web Pizza warm. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!®
