Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Outlaw Blackened Bloody Mary
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 fresh corn tortillas
- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1-2 fresh jalapeños, sliced
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1/2 cup pickled onions
- 1/2 cup Mexican crumbly cheese (fresco)
- 1/2 cup crema (Mexican sour cream)
- Lime wedges for serving
Preparation Instructions
- Prepare the Shrimp: Slice each large shrimp in half lengthwise and then into thirds to create smaller pieces. In a bowl, mix the shrimp with the Dan-O’s Outlaw Blackened Bloody Mary and olive oil until evenly coated.
- Cook the Shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a bit of oil. Once hot, add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove from heat.
- Prepare the Tortillas: In a separate skillet, heat the corn tortillas for about 60 seconds on each side until warm.
- Build the Tacos: Place a warm tortilla on a plate. Add a portion of the cooked shrimp, followed by a handful of shredded cabbage, fresh cilantro, jalapeño slices, diced avocado, pickled onions, and a sprinkle of queso fresco. Drizzle with crema and serve with lime wedges on the side.
- Serve your Shrimp Tacos immediately while warm. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top for an extra yum yum get ya sum!®
