Louisville, Kentucky – Dan-O’s is proud to have sponsored the Second-Annual Tee Up Fore the Cause Golf Tournament on June 27th at the Hurstbourne Country Club. This tournament was in benefit of the Kids Cancer Alliance and was hosted by former NFL Pro Bowler & UofL star Eric Wood, Former NFL Quarterback & UofL Star Chris Redman, Local Entrepreneur Joey Wagner, and Dan-O’s Own Dan Oliver.
The tournament featured 2 Man Team Shamble Style with a 27 Hole Tournament making this a tournament unlike any other all while raising money for an amazing cause. Teams played the 18-Hole Championship Course plus the 9-Hole Executive Course. The winners of this one-of-a-kind tournament received a Tee Up Fore the Cause “Green Jacket”, a Winner’s Trophy, & and bragging rights till the 2023 Tournament.
Participants in the tournament got the opportunity to enjoy the VIP Pre-party at Chris Redman’s Private residence. The evening featured dinner and cocktails, along with a silent and live auction. On the day of the tournament, participants got the full experience with golf carts loaded with Dan-O’s Chipotle Jerky, Dan-O’s tee markers, and koozies. Dan-O’s own ToothPick Timmy and Crew were serving up fresh eats like Kentucky Hills Wagyu Hamburgers, Dan-O’s Original Signature Chicken, and for dinner, Dan-O’s signature Wings. Participants could also enjoy Dan-O’s inspired cocktails like Tito’s Vodka Dan-O’s bloody Mary.
Across the holes, players got the chance to get the full suite of Dan-O’s signature spices, and compete for prizes like Reqtec Coolers, or even a Reqtec Pellet Smoker for whoever hit the ball closest to the hole.
