The ribeye steak in this recipe, created by Bradley Steven Perry, boasts a deep, meaty flavor enhanced by a mix of Dan-O’s Spicy and Chipotle seasonings, creating a warm, smoky taste with just the right kick. Complementing the steak's richness is the buttery, herb-infused stuffing, which offers a soft, savory contrast. Definitely the Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!

For the Ribeye:

  • Ribeye steak
  • Dan-O's Spicy Seasoning
  • Dan-O's Chipotle Seasoning

For the Stuffing:

  • ¾ cup (1½ sticks) unsalted butter (plus more for baking dish)
  • 1 lb. good-quality day-old white bread, torn into 1" pieces (about 10 cups)
  • 2½ cups chopped yellow onions
  • 1½ cups ¼" slices celery
  • ½ cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh sage
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 2½ cups low-sodium chicken broth, divided
  • 2 large eggs

Preparation Instructions

Prepare the Ribeye:

  1. Season the ribeye steak generously with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and a mix of Dan-O's Spicy and Chipotle.
  2. Cook the ribeye to your preferred level of doneness. Remember to let it rest after cooking, as this helps the steak retain its juices and flavor.

Make the Stuffing:

  1. Preheat your oven and butter a baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter. Add onions and celery, cooking until they are soft.
  3. Stir in the parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme, cooking for a few more minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the bread pieces with the cooked vegetables, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Whisk the chicken broth and eggs together, then pour over the bread mixture. Stir until everything is well-mixed.
  6. Transfer the stuffing to the prepared baking dish, and bake until it's golden and crispy on top.

  1. Slice the rested ribeye and serve it over a bed of the warm, buttery herb stuffing.
  2. Enjoy!
