Pigs in a blanket are a delightful and easy-to-make appetizer, perfect for any gathering. This recipe, created by @jayy.rene, is a harmonious blend of smoky and savory flavors. This dish represents comfort and simplicity, making it a beloved choice for both children and adults.


  • 1 Pack of Lit’l Smokies or sausage of choice
  • 1 Package of Croissant Dough
  • Dan-O’s Cheesoning
  • 1 egg

Preparation Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Unroll the croissant dough and cut each triangle into thirds.
  3. Place a Lit’l Smokie on the thicker side of each dough piece and roll it up.
  4. Arrange the rolled-up sausages on a baking sheet.
  5. Crack the egg, beat it lightly, and brush it over the “piggies” for an egg wash.
  6. Generously sprinkle the Dan-O’s Cheesoning Seasoning on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
