These Ham & Cheese Stuffed Christmas Trees by Cookin With Megg aren't just a feast for the eyes; they're a collection of rich flavors and textures. The melting cheese complements the succulent ham perfectly, while the buttery, garlic-infused Dan-O's Cheesoning adds a burst of herbaceous zest, elevating the dish to a whole new level of deliciousness.

Ingredients

  • 2 pizza crusts
  • Sliced Swiss cheese
  • Sliced deli ham
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Dan-O's Cheesoning Seasoning
  • White cheddar cheese (for the stars)

Preparation Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lay one pizza crust flat and gently roll it out, ensuring it remains intact.
  3. Add a generous layer of Swiss cheese, followed by a layer of ham.
  4. Place the second pizza crust on top and roll it out to cover the fillings.
  5. Trim the edges to form an even rectangle.
  6. Cut the layered crust longitudinally into eight equal strips.
  7. Accordion-fold each strip, decreasing the size of each fold to form a tree shape.
  8. Insert a 6-inch skewer along the length of each tree.
  9. Arrange the trees on a baking sheet and bake for 16 minutes.
  10. While baking, melt the butter and mix in the minced garlic and Dan-O's Cheesoning.
  11. Cut out star shapes from the white cheddar cheese using the star-shaped cookie cutter.
  12. Once baked and slightly cooled, brush the trees with the seasoned butter.
  13. Top each skewer with a cheese star. Serve and enjoy!
