Tzatziki Chicken Lettuce Wrap
You don’t have to head East to get a taste of this Tzatziki chicken lettuce wrap! This famous wrap is full of fresh veggies, juicy chicken, and creamy tzatziki sauce all wrapped up in fluffy pita bread. This is a hearty wrap, and is sure to satisfy you from lunch to dinner. You may be asking what is tzatziki sauce? Its a sauce that hails from Southeast Europe or the Middle East. It’s strained yogurt, or sour cream, mixed with fresh cucumber, light herbs and spices, and sometimes a little vinegar. It’s a great addition to anything from this wrap to gyros, or even as a salad dressing. Once you’ve had a taste, you’ll be whipping it up for other meals outside of this tzatziki chicken lettuce wrap!
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 Bunch cilantro
- 1 bunch green onions
- 32 oz chicken stock
- 1 cucumber, shredded
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 bag shredded carrots
- 1 package of bean sprouts
- 1 tomato, sliced
- I head of lettuce
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Pita bread
- Dan-O’s Crunchy
- Dan-O’s Original

Instructions
Make the sauce:
- Using a mandoline, shred cucumber and strain moisture through a paper towel.
- Add to a bowl with both Dan-O’s seasoning and sour cream. Mix thoroughly.
Wrap:
- Slice chicken breasts into large sections and add to a pot with cilantro and chopped green onions. Boil until chicken is done
- Remove chicken from water and shred with fork
- Coat chicken with Dan-O’s Original
- Place shredded chicken on 2-3 large pieces of lettuce
- Add carrots, bean sprouts, tomato, and top with tzatziki sauce
- Roll up and enjoy!
