Spicy Chipotle Salsa

Who doesn’t love a spicy salsa? That’s why this spicy chipotle salsa is so Dan popular! It’s real easy to make, and works wonders by itself or as an addition to some tacos or burritos. Try this spicy chipotle salsa with flank steak quesadilla, philly cheesesteak nachos, weeknight tamale pie, or spicy shrimp tacos with garlic cilantro lime slaw. The beautiful part about this spicy chipotle salsa is that you can sub Dan-O’s Chipotle for either Original or Spicy. You could also only use Chipotle if you wanted. The choice is yours to control the heat level to your liking.
Ingredients
- 2 tomatoes, quartered
- 2 jalapenos, halved
- 1 large white onion, quartered
- A lime
- I small can tomatillos
- A small can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
- Dan-O’s Spicy Seasoning
Preparation Instructions
- Dry roast tomatoes, jalapenos, and onion.
- Place in a blender and add remaining ingredients.
- Blend until smooth, pour into a bowl. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips and enjoy!
