The best part about these sausage breakfast bombs is how customizable they are. Try substituting in diced bell pepper, some fresh mushrooms, and different cheeses like gouda or fontina to really make these bombs your own.

Tips and Tricks for sausage breakfast bombs

Can I freeze sausage breakfast bombs?
Once you’ve cooked, and let the bombs cool down then you can store in the freezer easily enough. Wrap them in freezer paper and store in a freezer safe bag or container. When you’re ready to eat, heat them up in a microwave for 1-2 minutes or in the oven at 375 for a few minutes.
What other proteins can I use for these breakfast bombs?
You could try a spicy chorizo, an applegate chicken and maple breakfast sausage, Canadian bacon or even regular bacon.

Ingredients

  • 12 sausage patties
  • 10 eggs
  • ½ bunch spinach
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • Cholula, to taste
  • Dan-O’s Crunchy Seasoning
  • Dan-O’s Spicy Seasoning
  • Dan-O’s Cheesoning

Preparation Instructions

  1. Chop spinach and red pepper. Add to a large bowl with eggs, cheese, and Dan-O’s
  2. Form sausage patties to the bottom of muffin tin
  3. Pour in egg mixture and bake 30 minutes at 375° F
  4. Remove from the muffin tin and serve.
