This quick snack is extremely simple but it’s Dan-Good. This jicama snack will only take you about 5 minutes to prepare. It’s a great healthy alternative to unhealthy and high sodium snacks like chips.
These are a very popular snack in many Latino homes. However, if you’re like Dan you’ve probably seen these in the grocery store and never tried them yourself. They are definitely worth the try, especially when made like this.
Just make sure you refrigerate these before. That way, you get a bit better snap and the jicama will be more crunchy.
- 1 jicama
- 2 limes
- Spicy Dan-O’s Seasoning
- Peel the jicama and cut them in long strips like french fries.
- Squeeze the lime juice on top of the jicama and pour a generous amount of spicy Dan-O’s on top.
