Keto Skillet Pork Chops Recipe

Description

These keto skillet pork chops get seasoned and seared on cast iron first to build a drool-worthy crust and then finish cooking to perfection in the oven. Then the veggies get tossed with olive oil and Dan-O’s seasoning for tasty and tender Brussels sprouts and bell peppers!

Helpful tips for making keto skillet pork chops and air fryer veggies:

  • The best way to avoid overcooking pork chops and ensure that they turn out tender and juicy is to use a meat thermometer to check at the end of baking in the oven. The temperature you are aiming for is 145 degrees. Exact cook times can vary per the thickness of your chop and your oven.
  • You can use different keto veggies if desired! If Brussels sprouts aren’t a favorite, consider cauliflower or broccoli instead.
  • I use my air fryer just about every day and it’s one of my favorite kitchen gadgets by far, and highly recommend it for roasting veggies as it gives them the best texture. Ingredients

For the pork chops:

    • 2 boneless center-cut pork chops (about 12 oz)
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon Dano’s seasoning (or more to taste)

For the air fryer veggies:

    • 8 oz. Brussels sprouts trimmed cut in half
    • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
    • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 2 teaspoons Dan-O’s seasoning

Instructions

For the pork chops:

  1. Heat a large cast-iron skillet on the stove with olive oil. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Add the pork chops to the hot skillet and season with Dan-O’s. Sear on each side for about a minute until browned.
  3. Place the cast iron skillet into the stove and cook for another 4-6 minutes until your pork chops reach 145 degrees internally. Pull them out of the oven, and set aside.

For the air fryer veggies:

  1. In a bowl, toss the veggies with olive oil and Dan-O’s seasoning. Place them in the air fryer and cook them on 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes until desired tenderness. Give them a shake halfway through cook time. Plate the pork chops with your veggies. Enjoy!
