What are coconut aminos?

Coconut Aminos is a soy-free seasoning that’s derived from organic coconut blossom nectar, apple cider vinegar, and sea salt. It’s a salty-sweet condiment with a buttery finish, and perfect for crunchy chicken breasts! Coconut aminos has about 73% less sodium than soy sauce, and perfect for soy and gluten free diets.

  1. Make the brine:
  2. Add water and salt to a pot mix until salt is dissolved
  3. Add brine, coconut aminos, and chicken to a gallon freezer bag, refrigerate for 1 hour
  4. Remove chicken from bag and coat one side with Dan-O’s Crunchy
  5. Preheat cast iron skillet to a medium heat, add vegetable oil
  6. When hot add chicken season side down
  7. Coat other side with Dan-O’s Crunchy and sear for 2 minutes both sides
  8. Remove the skillet from the stove and add to a 300 F oven for about 25-35 minutes, or until 165 fahrenheit internal temperature. 
  9. Remove from the oven and let sit for 10 minutes.
  10. Slice and serve. Enjoy!
