Bacon Wrapped Beef Onion Rings

However, you don’t have to go-to the land where the Shadows lie to get these delicious Bacon Wrapped Beef Onion Rings. You can whip these up for a watch party or even a meal, they’re hearty enough! Feel free to experiment with the proteins, we used beef but you could try bison, Impossible meat, or even turkey as a filler.

As we all know, a good onion rings goes a long way but a quality dipping sauce to companion it? That goes all the way. Thankfully, we’ve got a few recommendations to dip these Bacon Wrapped Beef Onion Rings in to take it to the next level. You could try our famous Yum Yum Get Ya Sum Sauce, or whip up one of our signature aioli to kick it up a notch. Ingredients

  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1 large onion
  • ½ lb hamburger
  • Dan-O’s Chipotle Seasoning
  • Dan-O’s Spicy Seasoning

Preparation Instructions

  1. Cut onion slices into 3/4 inch slices
  2. Separate the large and small rings
  3. Wrap the inside of the larger ring with Dan-O’s Seasoned ground beef and insert the smaller ring into the middle
  4. Wrap beef onion ring with bacon
  5. Cook at 325 for 1 hour

  1. Great recioe,,,fantastic flavor..my grandaughter brought the recipe..I only had to provide the 3 pounds of bacon….ha

  2. I’m not sure if you just have onions the size of grapefruits or what but this was an absolute pain in the ass to wrap the bacon around. Other than that issue it turned out good.

    1. I guess they just grow them big around here, my only advice for the future is to go handpick your onions instead of buying a bag of them. Glad the recipe turned out good.
