Description
Simple & Tasty Air Fryer Sweet Potato Chips
This is a super simple recipe and a great use of your air fryer. These air fryer sweet potato chips are a much healthier alternative to some unhealthy, high-sodium potato chips. All these takes are a few simple ingredients. All you’ll need to make this Dan-good recipe is two sweet potatoes, olive oil, thyme, and some Dan-O’s Original Seasoning.
The Advantage of Using an Air Fryer
The great thing about using the air fryer for this, other than using less oil, is the crispy finish that an air fryer allows you to achieve. It would be hard to replicate with any type of deep fryer and there is no mess to clean up after. If you were to deep fry these, you risk getting messy oil all over the place. Not to mention, the risk of getting popped by some hot oil.
The Pro-Tip
The only other thing to place close attention to is not to overfill the air fryer. If you do so you risk certain chips from fully cooking or some may end up sticking together. It’s best not to overlap the chips too much and to just make them in batches. Try this Dantastic recipe for yourself and enjoy!
