Louisville, KY – On Monday, Senator Rand Paul stopped by the Dan-O’s facility to honor the company and its many successes. Each week, the committee presents the award to a U.S. business that is said to “exemplify the entrepreneurial spirit of America.” Senator Paul selected Dan-O’s Seasoning from his legislative state as one of these stewards of hard work and entrepreneurship back in October of last year.
In his initial press release, Senator Paul recognized Dan-O’s Seasoning for several things that the company prides itself on. That includes giving back, innovation, and working with other small businesses and individuals across the U.S. to support domestic trade and individual dreams.
Senator Paul stopped the Dan-O’s Warehouse to meet with Dan Oliver and the company. Senator Paul presented Oliver with a copy of the Congressional Record honoring the business, but the Senator wasn’t the only one presenting something that day. Oliver presented the U.S. Senator with his own Dan-O’s care package so that the Senator could bring some of Dan-good flavor back to Washington.
“I started with $8,000 in 2015 with an idea and a dream, if you believe in your product and your idea and have a vision, with the right people in place… having a good team behind you is what it’s all about.” Oliver had to say to the press.
After the presentation, Senator Paul was taken on a brief tour of the warehouse and then treated to a lunch with staff where Toothpick Timmy served up some big flavor with the famous Dan-O’s Original Chicken and Hamburgers.
Although we were proud to receive this honor from Senator Paul, Dan-O’s Seasoning is not affiliated in any form with Rand Paul’s upcoming political campaign. Dan-O’s does not identify with any particular political party or ideology.
