Dan-O’s Helps Make-a-Wish OKI Grant Wishes for 10 Kentucky Kids

LOUISVILLE, KY — Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana’s first-ever Kentucky Hope is Essential Virtual Gala presented by Commonwealth Credit Union was a little different than a traditional Gala; it was streamed on July 24th via Make-A-Wish’s social channels.

Dan-O’s Seasoning is proud to have helped Make-A-Wish raise over $100,000 to help grant 10 life-changing wishes for Kentucky kids with critical illnesses. Dan-O’s Seasoning was included in two bundles of Kentucky Proud goods that participants were able to bid on.

“Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana relies on generous supporters, organizations and companies like Dan-O’s Seasoning to help make life-changing wishes come true,” said Make-A-Wish Development Officer Cassidy Hyde.

“The Hope is Essential Virtual Gala raised more than $100,000 to grant at least 10 wishes for Kentucky kids through donations, sponsorships and a virtual auction including Dan-O’s Seasoning items. We can’t thank Dan-O’s Seasoning enough for helping deliver hope to kids with critical illnesses. Now more than ever, that hope is essential!”

Make-A-Wish OKI creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Founded in 1983, they have granted more than 17,500 wishes, and in the fiscal year 2019, granted the largest number of wishes in the country. Make-A-Wish is more than wish granting, it’s a global movement of transforming lives through hope.
