Dan-O Joins Eric Wood On Air in Buffalo

BUFFALO, NY – Last month, Dan-O and several members of the Dan-O’s Seasoning team joined Eric Wood in his second home of Buffalo, NY. While in Buffalo, Dan-O was given Eric’s football star treatment and was even invited to demo his seasoning on live TV.

The Dan-O’s fans in Louisville, KY might remember Eric Wood as the former center for the UofL Cardinals football team. Then, in 2009, Eric was drafted to the Buffalo Bills where he eventually spent his whole football career. Now retired from the NFL, Eric stays involved in the Buffalo community as a Bills radio broadcaster and through his philanthropic endeavors.

In joining Eric to Buffalo, Dan-O and team received the NFL-ers treatment packed with good food, entertainment, and, of course, a Bills football game. They even made a stop at Niagara Falls, which is about 30 minutes from downtown Buffalo.

Once some of the entertainment and busyness from the football game winded down, Dan-O and Eric joined the newscast at WIBV4. On air, Dan-O demoed his seasoning which was a big hit with the anchors, and Eric discussed his upcoming Flights and Bites charity event.

In his on-air interview, Eric also discussed how he got involved with Dan-O’s Seasoning, a company he is now a partner of. Eric mentioned how he kept hearing about the seasoning in his home city of Louisville and fell in love with it after trying. He eventually had founder Dan Oliver on his podcast and decided to stay involved with the company after getting to know its leadership team.

Over the weekend, Dan was also a special guest at Eric’s charity event, Flights and Bites. The event featured an open bar and buffet-style dinner and raised money for the Eric Wood Fund, a fund that offers support to the families of terminally ill children at Buffalo’s Oishei Children’s Hospital.

When asked, the Dan-O’s team members were excited to spend time in Buffalo, and all soon hope to return. Buffalo is a community that Dan-O’s Seasoning hopes to increase its presence in with their new partner and Buffalo icon, Eric Wood.
