Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Dan-O’s Tac-O Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
- 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Dips Mexi-Ranch
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (4.5 oz) can chopped green chiles
- 1 cup fresh or frozen corn
- 1 (15 oz) can of black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup or more of chunky salsa
- 2 Tbsp chopped cilantro
- Juice of half a lime
- 12 bibb lettuce leaves
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup milk
- Toppings, optional: shredded cheese, avocado, sour cream, green onion, cilantro
Preparation Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, milk, and Dan-O’s Dips Mexi-Ranch until smooth and creamy. You're looking for a drizzle-friendly consistency, so add the milk if you want it pourable. Prefer a thicker sauce? Skip the milk and keep it nice and rich.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Sprinkle with Dan-O’s Tac-O and cook until it starts to brown and crumble. Flip it and then sprinkle with Dan-O’s Tac-O Seasoning and Dan-O’s Original Seasoning. Break it all up and stir everything together and continue cooking until the beef is fully browned and packed with bold taco flavor.
- Add the green chiles, corn, and black beans to the skillet. Stir well and cook for about 5 more minutes, letting everything heat through and become one delicious taco party.
- Squeeze in the fresh lime juice and give it one final stir. That bright citrus kick takes all those savory flavors to the next level.
- Fill each lettuce cup with a scoop of the taco beef mixture. Then load them up with your favorite toppings—cheese, tomatoes, avocado, jalapeños, cilantro, or whatever makes your taco-loving heart happy.
- Finish with a generous drizzle of the Mexi-Ranch sauce, and Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!®
