- 3 teaspoon Dan-O’s Chipotle Seasoning
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- Cooking Spray
For the Hot Honey:
- 1 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons hot sauce
- 2-3 teaspoons Dan-O’s Chipotle Seasoning
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Preparation Instructions
For the Hot Honey:
- Place all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir to combine and heat until the mixture comes to a simmer.
- Turn down the heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring regularly. Remove from the heat. (Be sure to watch this closely, since it has the tendency to boil over.)
For the Wings:
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Pat dry the wings with paper towels.
- Add cornstarch, Dan-O’s Seasoning, salt, and pepper to a large mixing bowl and mix together. Add the wings and toss to coat.
- Arrange a single layer of wings on a parchment-lined baking sheet. And spritz with cooking spray.
- Bake the wings on the middle rack for 30 minutes, then turn the wings over and cook 15-20 more minutes, until they’re crispy and golden the way you like them. Use a meat thermometer to make sure the temp reaches at least 165F.
- While they’re baking make the Hot Honey.
- Remove the wings from the oven, and toss with Hot Honey. Enjoy!
