Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Dan-O’s Outlaw Sweet & Tangy BBQ
- ½ packet Dan-O’s Dips French Onion
- 2 lb 80/20 ground beef
- 1 cup ketchup
- ½ cup Worcestershire sauce
- ¾ cup beef stock
- 1 package hamburger buns, 8-count
- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 8 dill pickle chips
Preparation Instructions
- Cook the Beef: Add ground beef to a pan over medium heat. Cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Let the beef sear slightly for extra flavor.
- Remove the Grease: Move the cooked beef to one side of the pan. Turn off the heat. Use paper towels and tongs to soak up the excess grease.
- Make the Sauce: Add ketchup and Worcestershire sauce to the beef. Sprinkle in Dan-O’s Outlaw Sweet & Tangy BBQ. Mix until the beef is fully coated.
- Simmer the Sloppy Dan Mixture: Turn the heat back on to medium. Add beef stock and Dan-O’s Dips French Onion. Stir until everything is mixed together. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, until the mixture thickens and reduces.
- Build the Sloppy Dans: Spoon the Sloppy Dan mixture onto the buns. Top with shredded cabbage. Finish each sandwich with a dill pickle chip.
- Serve warm and enjoy. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
