Ingredients
- Dan-O’s Cheesoning
- 1/2 tsp Dan-O’s Italian-O Seasoning
- 1 roll refrigerated pizza dough
- Mini pepperonis
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 red onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Marinara/pizza sauce
- ranch dip (below), for dipping or use marinara
Ranch Dip
- 1 packet Dan-O’s Dips Ranch
- ¾ cup buttermilk
- ¾ cup mayonnaise
Preparation Instructions
- Preheat that oven to 425°F.
- Lightly flour your work surface so your dough doesn’t act brand new. Roll it out into a 12″ x 8″ rectangle—nice and even.
- Brush the dough with a little olive oil, then sprinkle it with Dan-O’s Cheesoning or Italian-O.
- Grab a pizza cutter and slice that dough into 12 even squares. In the center of each square, drop in ½ tsp pizza sauce, 1 tsp cheese, and whatever toppings you’re feeling—pepperoni, green peppers, onions…you do you.
- Now bring it together! Carefully roll the corners up around the filling, pinch it tight, and form a ball. Set each dough ball into a lightly sprayed pie pan and let ’em chill for a second.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon Dan-O’s Italian-O or Cheesoning. Brush that buttery goodness all over the dough balls.
- Bake for 9–12 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and beautiful.
- Serve hot with marinara or Dan-O’s Dips Ranch and watch these disappear.
