Ingredients
- Dan-O’s Outlaw Sweet Caribbean
- 1 pizza crust
- 1 chicken breast
- Small red bell pepper
- ¼ cup pineapple pieces, chopped
- 1/4 red onion sliced thin
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1-2 cups pizza sauce
Preparation Instructions
- Roast the red peppers: Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment. Cut red peppers in half, remove stems, seeds, and membranes. Place cut-side down on the sheet and roast 20–30 minutes until blistered and dark. Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap for 10–20 minutes, then peel the skins off.
- Prep the oven for the pizza: Keep it at 450°F—you want that crust crispy and golden.
- Cook the chicken: Season with Dan-O’s Outlaw Sweet Caribbean, cook thoroughly in a skillet, and shred.
- Assemble the pizza: Spread pizza sauce over the crust, leaving a ½-inch edge. Scatter shredded chicken, roasted red pepper strips, pineapple chunks, and sprinkle with some more Dan-O’s Outlaw Sweet Caribbean, and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake it: Place on a pizza stone or pan on the bottom oven rack and bake 8–10 minutes until the crust is browned and the cheese is perfectly melted.
