The quaker city has given us a lot of inspiration here at Dan-O’s, and this Philly cheesesteak pizza is no exception. We layered all the classic Philly cheesesteak ingredients on crispy pizza crust with fresh mozzarella and Dan-O’s Cheesoning® to make the ultimate late night pizza. If you want old school Philly style, try topping it with Cheez Whiz. You can season your beef with Dan-O’s Original for extra savory flair, or kick up the heat a bit with Dan-O’s Jalapeño Cheesoning® or Spicy Seasoning. Try making your own pizza crust if you want, just mix some Dan-O’s Original into the dough. After just one bite of this Philly cheesesteak pizza, you’re bound to be saying Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
Ingredients
- Dan-O’s Cheesoning® or Jalapeño Cheesoning®, topping
- Dan-O's Original Seasoning
- 2 lbs - beef of your choice (we used NY Strip)
- 1 Boboli Pizza Crust
- 1 red onion
- 1 yellow onion
- 2 green bell peppers
- 2 red bell peppers
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp steak sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- Pickled jalapenos (optional)
Preparation Instructions
- Chop the beef and cook in a skillet or griddle over medium high heat with a generous sprinkle of your favorite Dan-O's, we recommend Original, Cheesoning® or Jalapeño Cheesoning®.
- Add diced onions, peppers, salt and pepper, and steak sauce, to beef and cook until peppers are soft.
- Lay out the pizza crust and top with steak sauce, beef and peppers, mozzarella cheese, and pickled jalapenos.
- Sprinkle with your favorite flavor of Dan-O's Cheesoning®.
- Bake at 450° F until cheese is melted and crust golden brown (around 15 minutes).
- Slice and serve immediately. Sprinkle with MORE of your favorite flavor of Dan-O's Cheesoning®. Enjoy!
