We’re talking flaky, buttery layers loaded with cheesy goodness and that Dan-O's SPG & Cheesoning combo that takes ‘em straight over the top. Perfect for breakfast, dinner, or just grab-and-go snackin’—these bad boys come together quick and disappear even faster. Perfect for Easter Dinner and great paired with some ham slices!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Dan-O’s SPG Tri-O (Salt, Pepper, Garlic) Seasoning
- 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Cheesoning
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 12 tbsp salted butter, cut into small pieces and chilled, plus melted butter for brushing
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
Preparation Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine flour, parmesan, baking powder, Dan-O’s SPG Tri-O, and Dan-O’s Cheesoning. Pulse it till everything’s blended and smellin’ right.
- Toss in the butter and pulse again until it’s mostly mixed in, but leave a few chunks.
- Slowly pour in the buttermilk while pulsing. Stop as soon as the dough comes together—don’t overdo it!
- Scoop out about 1/4 cup portions of dough and drop ‘em onto your prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until they’re golden on top and bottom and lookin’ downright irresistible.
- Brush ‘em with melted butter right outta the oven—and if you’re feelin’ wild, mix a little Cheesoning into that butter for an extra flavor kick. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!®
