This No-Boil Pasta Bake recipe is a one-pan Dan good dish that’s a lifesaver for those evenings when the last thing you want to do is spend hours in the kitchen. Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Italian-O™ Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Jalapeño Cheesoning® Seasoning
- 1 pound dried penne pasta
- 2 cans (15 oz each) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 pound mild Italian sausage
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Preparation Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- In a large 13 x 9 baking dish, add the dried penne pasta then pour in the crushed tomatoes, Dan-O’s Italian-O™, Dan-O’s Original, heavy cream, and chicken stock. Break half of the sausage into bite- size chunks and fold them into the mixture. Stir well to combine. This will create a tomato-based mixture.
- Crumble the remaining half of the sausage and sprinkle it on top of the mixture in the baking dish. Gently press everything down.
- Press everything down gently to ensure it’s well combined.
- Sprinkle generously with Dan-O’s Jalapeño Cheesoning® over the top.
- Cover the baking pan tightly with aluminum foil to retain moisture.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
- After the initial baking time, remove the foil and add shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
