Ingredients
1 bottle of Dan-O’s Jalapeno Cheesoning®
4 pounds chuck roast
1 pound bacon
Sesame buns
Pepper Jack cheese
Tomatoes, sliced thinly
Onions, sliced thinly
Pickles
Lettuce
Mayonnaise
Mustard
Preparation Instructions
Cut the chuck roast and bacon into smaller pieces and mix together evenly.
Use a meat grinder to grind the roast and bacon together.
Preheat the Pellet smoker to 350°F.
Mix Dan-O's Jalapeno Cheesoning® into the meat. Form the ground meat into 1/2 lb patties and place them on the grill. Grill the patties for 25 minutes.
Flip patties and place 1 slice of pepper jack cheese and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
While the patties are grilling, slice the tomatoes and onions thinly.
In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat.
Place the sesame buns in the skillet and toast them until golden brown.
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the bun and add the pickle. Place the grilled burger patty on top. Add lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and onions. Then add mustard on top before placing the top half of the bun.
