Whether you're hosting a Halloween bash, planning a spooky movie night, or need a festive appetizer the whole family can help make, this ghost bruschetta delivers fresh Italian flavor without a scary amount of work. Make a platter and watch these little boos disappear!

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Dan-O’s Italian-O Seasoning
  • Block of mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • Italian bread loaf, sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes, diced
  • Red onion, diced
  • Balsamic vinegar glaze
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil, divided

Preparation Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the mozzarella slices into little ghost shapes. Use a small ghost-shaped cookie cutter if you have one, or carefully cut them by hand. Don't worry if they're a little wonky—these ghosts have been through a lot.
  2. Lightly brush both sides of the bread slices with olive oil. Heat a skillet over medium heat and toast the bread for a few minutes per side, until golden brown and crisp.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, diced red onion, a drizzle of olive oil, and Dan-O's Italian-O Seasoning. Toss everything together until those tomatoes are coated in plenty of flavor.
  4. Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto each toasted bread slice.
  5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze, then place a mozzarella ghost right on top. Repeat until you've got yourself a whole haunted platter.
  6. Serve your Halloween Boo-schetta right away while the bread is crispy. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!®
