Ingredients
- Dan-O’s Spicy Seasoning
- 1 pound chicken breast
- Shredded Mexican cheese
- Shredded lettuce
- Sour cream
- Oil for cooking
- Large flour tortillas
- Small flour tortillas
- Small corn tortillas
Preparation Instructions
- Cut the chicken breasts into large pieces and cover them with parchment paper. Pound the chicken to flatten it evenly.
- Sprinkle the chicken generously with Dan-O’s Spicy.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until it sizzles. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook, flipping occasionally, until both sides are golden brown and crispy. Remove from skillet.
- Make the Crispy Tortilla: In the same skillet, add a small flour tortilla and cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side until crispy. Repeat for additional small tortillas as needed.
- Assemble the Wrap: Place a large flour tortilla on a flat surface. In the center, layer the cooked chicken, shredded cheese, and a small crispy tortilla.
- Top with sour cream and shredded lettuce, topped with the small corn tortilla.
- Gently fold the sides of the large tortilla over the filling towards the center. Then, fold the bottom and top edges to create a square shape, ensuring everything is tucked in tightly.
- Cook the Wrap: Heat the skillet over medium-low heat. There should be no oil in the pan.
- Place the folded wrap seam-side down in the skillet.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Be careful not to turn the heat too high to prevent burning.
- Remove the wrap from the skillet and let it cool for a minute. Cut in half and serve with extra salsa or sour cream on the side.
