Ingredients
- 3 tsp Dan-O’s Cajun seasoning
- 1-2 cups shredded crab meat
- 2 blocks of cream cheese (16 oz) softened to room temperature
- 1 4oz can of diced green chiles, drained
- 2–3 tbsp, diced pickled jalapeños (plus 1 tsp of the juice)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- Toasted pita bread, for serving
Preparation Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Make the Creamy Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Using a hand mixer or just a spoon, blend everything until it's smooth and creamy.
- Add the minced garlic, Dan-O’s Cajun Seasoning, pickled jalapeños, and a splash of jalapeño juice. Mix until all those bold, zesty flavors are evenly combined.
- Gently fold in the green chiles and crab meat, and stir just enough to distribute everything evenly without breaking up the crab too much.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish or cast-iron skillet. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and lightly golden around the edges.
- Let the dip cool for a minute or two—it's molten lava levels of hot right out of the oven. Serve warm with toasted pita bread, crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh-cut veggies. Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
